Jaroslava Vydrová

senior research fellow at the Institute of Philosophy, SAS in Bratislava. In her research she is engaged in the phenomenological method, the texts of the late Husserl, and the problem of subjectivity, emotions and intersubjectivity. She is a co-organizer of the international cooperation between the academies of sciences in Bratislava, Prague and Warszawa. Her most recent book concerned the problem of philosophical anthropology and contained, in particular, investigations on the thought of H. Plessner. She teaches philosophy at Department of Philosophy, University of Trnava and is editor-in-chief of the journal Ostium (www.ostium.sk).
