CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
International Spring School in Contemporary Phenomenology and Philosophy of Mind
October 10th-October 12th, Valparaíso, Chile.
This International Spring School is intended to provide doctoral students and young scholars with the opportunity to engage in some of the most recent discussions on philosophy of mind from a phenomenological perspective.
The Spring School will feature main lectures by invited speakers and a number of allocated slots for doctoral students to discuss their work and receive feedback on their research.
The Summer School will take place in the beautiful coastal town of Valparaíso, two-hours away from Santiago, on October 10th-October 12th 2018.

Applications to attend the Spring School will be open until July 15th, 2018. To attend please send an email to email@example.com with a short statement of interest and a brief academic bio indicating institutional affiliation, academic status (PhD student, Postdoc, etc.), research interests and relevant publications in the area.
There will be slots for 6 student plenary presentations (30’ + 15’ for Q&A). If you would like to give a talk at the Spring School you can submit a 500-word abstract along with your general application.
Registration Fee, including lunch for the three days of the event, is 50.000 CLP (approx. 80 USD or 65 Euro). Fee waivers and a small number of bursaries may become available on a date closer to the event.
The Spring School is organized by the Phenomenology and Naturalism Network (Conicyt Grant REDI170493, Phenomenology and Naturalism: Methodological Challenges and Potential Contributions to Philosophy of Mind, Cognitive Science and Psychiatry; PI: Bernardo Ainbinder) and by FONDECYT REGULAR 1161667: From Action to Thought: A Socio-Cultural Approach to the Emergence of Propositional Thought (PI: Glenda Satne).
