The study of consciousness

René van der Veer

pp. 243-250

This chapter is based on the content of a notebook without a cover. Its text is written in violet ink and runs from two sides. The first and last pages are dated "October, 1932," which suggests that all notes were written in that month. The text consists of three parts: (1) the plan for the unwritten book On the question of the study of consciousness, (2) notes about the psychophysical problem, and (3) reactions to talks by Solov"ev and Leont"ev that were presented at one of the internal meetings. The latter two parts start on the last page of the notebook. The document is interesting because it marks the transition to the dynamic semantic approach.
