Transfer and translation

King Tong Ho

pp. 83-99

This chapter makes key references to my PhD study and my postgraduate supervision experiences in art and design, particularly of creative practice-led research projects. While I teach and research in a Western context today, I am yet influenced by how I was brought up, in a British-colonised Chinese community in Hong Kong; by how I became acculturated to the Western-dominated, multicultural society in Aotearoa/New Zealand; and by the thinking of Chinese or Asian postgraduate thesis candidates.
