Philosophy as analysis of origins

Theodorus de Boer

pp. 279-298

The actual task of the six investigations that make up the second volume of the German edition of LU is to clarify the concepts of pure logic. Nevertheless, Husserl also speaks of the analysis of the origins of arithmetical concepts, usually when explaining his intentions. Therefore I will begin with a short explication of this philosophical clarification of arithmetic. This will give me another opportunity to compare LU in detail with PA.
