Professor Spicker's "The Lived-Body As Catalytic Agent" is a good example of a reaction at the interface of medicine and philosophy. Spicker made the lived-body [le corps propre] thematic as the meeting point of the disciplines of philosophers and physicians. The category of laterality is suggested as a means to comprehend the lived-body and to comprehend certain infirmities. We will articulate our discussion in four points.
