Early phenomenology
The goal of the present series will be to further research into the history of the phenomenological movement by publishing critical editions of the works of the “early phenomenologists,” supplemented with commentaries and archival materials. In particular, we hope to revive the works of the members of the so-called Göttingen and Munich Circles, other followers of Edmund Husserl, Theodor Lipps and Carl Stumpf, and figures who made important contributions to the early development and reception of phenomenology. Many of these thinkers have been unduly forgotten. Our hope is that these volumes will not only be of interest to historians, but will also be used to inform discussions in contemporary phenomenology.
