Dear Sir or Madam, The Slovenian peer-reviewed journal of phenomenology and hermeneutics Phainomena would like to dedicate one of the upcoming international issues to the question(s) of the philosophy of education. The purpose of the volume, prepared in collaboration with The International Institute for Hermeneutics (IIH), and edited by Prof. Dr. Dr. Andrzej Wierciński and Dr. Andrej Božič, is to illuminate—from the hermeneutic and/or phenomenological viewpoints—different dimensions of the problems the educational process is confronted with within the challenging circumstances of the post-modern world, ranging from the teacher-student relation in the enclosed environment of the classroom to the various broader contexts of cultural, political, and societal aspects, into which it always already finds itself, however paradoxically and complexly formulated these relations may be, imbedded. We cordially invite you to prepare a contribution regarding the proposed relevant and important theme of education, which we would be honored to publish within the upcoming issue of Phainomena. The deadline for the submission of manuscripts is June 30, 2019. The Manuscript Submission Guidelines for the preparation of the paper can be found on the journal's website.
