(1981) Marxism and alternatives, Dordrecht, Springer.

Despite its title, Hegel's Science of Logic is not a logic in the ordinary sense of the term; it is an ontology, and a dialectical ontology at that. This fact, and its misunderstanding by Lenin, perhaps has been the most decisive formative influence on Soviet dialectical logic. Because of Lenin's peculiar confusion of Hegel with Aristotle, it is only gradually that the discussion has been able to free itself from psychologism.
